    IELTS Grammar (timesaver)

This is a useful book targeted at helping intermediate and advanced students iron out some common grammatical errors (e.g. countable and uncountable nouns, stative verbs, gerund vs infinitive). It assumes that the student already has a solid grasp of grammar, and as such is not a traditional 'course book', but rather a way for students to perfect their English before an exam (or go deeper into the grammar).

It could be used in it's entirety (20 lessons) or the teacher could pick out specific topics relevant to their student/s. In my opinion it would be particularly useful as a homework or self-study resource, with students bringing any questions to the following lesson.

The introduction also includes a quick overview of the IELTS exam which is useful for teachers new to the exam or those who want a quick reminder. There are also practice questions that enable students to practice in an exam like context.

Overall, this is a very useful resource for both teachers and students, and focuses on common but preventable errors.
