Popcorn ELT Primary Readers are available at four levels:
  • Starter Level: Stories are 200 words in length and include 150 headwords
  • Level 1 (Early Beginner): Stories are 500 words in length and include 200 headwords
  • Level 2 (Mid-Beginner): Stories are 800 words in length and include 250 headwords
  • Level 3 (High Beginner): Stories are 1,100 words in length and include 300 headwords

What are headwords? Headwords are the selection of words children are expected to know at the different stages of their language-learning studies without recourse to a dictionary.
