    100 Smartboard Lessons Y2

The innovative nature of the resource
Although I have seen online resources from Smartboard and other items published free on websites I have never seen lesson plan + Smartboard software published in book format.

The impact on learning and the work of the teacher in the classroom, to what extent and in which areas
I think that this will be a useful resource as firstly it would save the teacher a lot of time. Despite some training on Smartboard I am not aware of all its capabilities and this software showed me some of the things it is capable of that I do not currently add into my own made resources.

How the resource supports or enhances the everyday life or work of teachers, pupils or school
The range of areas covered was very pertinent to the areas that I currently teach in Year 2. Pupils find Smartboard and interesting device and I think the mixture of Smartboard as a tool alongside other suggested activities is important.

Cost effectiveness in terms of educational aims and results – not just price.
Personally I would not purchase a book this expensive even though it would be very useful and I would hope that no teacher employed in a school would but it could be a cost effective resource purchased out of a school budget. (Though which budget could be a problem as most schools would separate subject budgets and ICT already has a lot of hardware commitments. Many schools could use their e-learning credits)
