Product description

Aaaarggh! Your favourite fairy tales – gone wrong! These hilarious rhymes are full of hungry beasts, greedy giants, wicked crooks… and naughty, cheeky, beastly little children. Meet Little Red Riding Hood, the grisly little girl who collects wolf-skin coats! Gasp at the nerve of rude Goldilocks, the cheeky house-breaker who gobbles up your porridge – and then breaks up the Chippendale. With wicked wit and the cunning of a big bad wolf, Roald Dahl turns six favourite fairy tales really REVOLTING! Whatever next?

Also available: Read and Respond activities to accompany Revolting Rhymes, which help children compare the rhymes to the original fairy tales and explore the effect. A great way to get boys and girls into poetry!

This book is bursting with the classic fairy tales turned into vulgar stories! Like red riding hood who carries the gun in her pants and collects wolf skins or the horrible, mean and rude goldilocks. As an age rating I would say 5-8
