Robert Muchamore

Robert Muchamore was born in Islington in 1972 and spent thirteen years working as a private investigator. He was inspired to create the CHERUB series by his nephews complaints about the lack of anything for them to read!

The CHERUB series launched in 2004 with Robert’s debut novel CHERUB: The Recruit. It went on to win the Red House Children’s Book Award in 2005 and Richard & Judy’s Children’s Book Club in 2007 and has now been turned into Hodder’s first graphic novel. The central character James Adams enjoyed 12 CHERUB adventures, retiring as an active agent in CHERUB: Shadow Wave. In August 2011, CHERUB launched People’s Republic – a brand new story arc following the lives of new recruits Ryan and Ning with Guardian Angel publishing in August 2012.

In 2009, Henderson’s Boys was launched, taking readers back to the very first CHERUB adventure and explaining how Charles Henderson established the CHERUB organisation. His latest series is Rock Wars.

   CHERUB is AMAZING read them over and over :):):) recommended it to everyone I know :) full of ACTION and there is always a new twist brilliant series of books

   Never Read In my Life

   This book is brilliant i was recomended it by my local bookstore owner. i have read before but never read as much as this im a 12 yr old boy who likes adventures and this booki is all about them so if your a parent of a 12 yr old boy or older get them reading this series its brilliant xx :)

   Brilliantly addictive

   As mum of an 11 Year old who hates reading, I never seem to find him doing anything else since he found Cherub. He's read the first 3 in less than a month and can't wait for the set to arrive. I'm even reading them myself now and they are very addictive. A must for all reluctant boy readers !!!!!

   If you can't bear to read another book about elves, princesses or spoiled rich kids that never go to the toilet, TRY THIS! You'll be happy when you read them! Totally great books for Alex Rider fans! You've got to read them!!!

   Cherub series

   Matt absolutely loved this series- if you want to get a twelve year old reading, this should do it! He has also read the hendersons boys series and really enjoyed those. Can't wait for the new Cherubs to come out!

    THE BEST SERIES EVER!

    This series is AMAZING! There is so much action it is BRILLIANT! I have recomended this series to everyone I know because it ROCKS! I can't wait until the new book comes out (Shadow Wave)! It is going to ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!
