More about Francesca: “I was born in St Louis, Missouri, grew up in Los Angeles and attended both Yale and Oxford Universities, where I specialised in Medieval Studies. I then threw away a lucrative career as a medievalist and worked as a freelance journalist, writing for the Sunday Times, Guardian, Mail on Sunday, Telegraph, and Vogue.

After my son Joshua was born in 1989, I started writing children’s books full time.

I have published over 50 books, including the immensely popular Horrid Henry series, published in 17 countries and now a successful CITV animation series.

I live in London with my husband, son, and Tibetan Spaniel called Shanti.”

    I thought this book was ok but I still enjoyed it.I liked the way that instead of him being horrid in all the other books it was good that for once he was trying to be good.I liked the dance class one because he was doing one type of dance while really wanting to do another.

    This is an amazing book. You really get into the story. You start to not like Peter, just like henry. The shorter stories (two in one book) are so much easier to read. More for young children, but anyone can read them. Lovely front cover. But could’ve done with a bit more whats in the book.

    this book is a really good book all about a horrid boy named horrid henry. It is a really good book and I can say that I loved it. It was 100% good and 0% bad. It really showed that it was a brilliant book and lots of people loved it. If you havent read it then you need to because it is a real good book.

    It was fun, thrilling as well as exciting all at once. As I read on with the stories, I didn’t want to put it down, especially were Peter had got into to trouble by his mum and dad. I think that all of Francessa Simon’s books are really incredible to read and I enjoy her books alot. I prefer reading Francessa’s books than any other authers. She is the best auother I know.
