    Addictive!

Million Dollar Mates: Superstar by Cathy Hopkins was my favourite book of the series mainly because we get to learn more about each characters and the feuds between them. My favourite character in this book is Alisha because although being extremely rich than Jess, she still is very low profile and kind to Jess. She doesn't act like she is better than Jess, she's humble and she is always there for Jess whenever Jess is upset or in need of a friend to talk to. Although having a misunderstanding with Jess in the first book of the series, in this book the two characters grow very close to each other especially when Alisha and her brother JJ have to return to the United States as their grandpa becomes extremely ill. I think this scene in the book brings them closer and more open to each other which is good to see as a reader to watch the two characters' personalities grow as the series develops. My least favourite character is Keira because she is spiteful towards Jess and always tries to find a way to bully her in situations. In book one, Jess and Keira have a fall out which left Keira hurt and Jess angry. Although Jess apologised, Keira still hasn't forgave her and we see this tension rise in this book in many chapters especially when Keira opens up a Facebook page dedicated to Jess, but is filled with hate to her. However, my favourite moment in the book is when Jess is on the train to Bournemouth to meet her relatives and she ends up sitting next to a guy called Connor. I found this meeting awkward but quite cute as later in the book, they meet up again and end up touring the country with the world famous star, Stephanie. Connor is very considerate and treats Jess nicely, he doesn't upset her as much as other characters in the book do and constantly checks up on her to make sure she is well, and I think that is what makes Connor so likeable to readers. Overall, my final thoughts of this book is that it's very intriguing and addictive to read. It has many ups and downs in the plot which will keep you glued to the book and you won't be able to put it down. If I was to rate this book out of 10, I would rate it 10, and I recommend this to any teenager young teens or old.
