Important information for International School Book Club Organisers
We have been advised due to custom changes happening in March 2024 that all schools based in the EU ordering from our International School Book Clubs will need to register for an EORI Number. EORI stands for “Economic Operators Registration and Identification number”. It’s a unique number designed to help customs authorities share information, speeding up checks and improving security.
As our Book Clubs leaflets and products from our online shop, including Book Clubs Rewards, are shipped from our central warehouse in Warwickshire UK, all orders to international schools will require one of these numbers from March 2024.
You are advised to visit your country’s customs website and register for an EORI number online. We would appreciate when you receive your number back that you could email it to intschool@scholastic.co.uk and we will record it on to our system.
