Fast Forward Orange: The Space Race (Non-fiction) Level 15

Many astronauts have been sent into space. However, in the 1950s no one had ever been to space or to the Moon. During this time, the race to get to the Moon was between two countries – the USA and the Soviet Union. The space race had begun.

Fast Forward Independent Texts reinforce the skills and knowledge students have gained from instructional/guided reading sessions. Independent Texts have been carefully-levelled for independent reading, allowing children to experience reading success on their own terms.
