“Someone has to stand against the dark. And you’re the only one who can.”
A nightmare world of terror engulfs Thomas when he is chosen to train as an exorcist. The seventh son of a seventh son, Thomas is chosen for his supernatural gifts, and must succeed in a dangerous job where many have failed before – with bloody consequences. For years, the local Spook has kept the County safe from evil. Now that his time is coming to an end, it is Thomas’s turn. Where other apprentices have failed, fled or died, he is the last hope. He must learn to cast out demons, banish ghosts, trap witches and face evil of all kinds. But when Thomas is tricked into freeing Mother Malkin, the most terrible witch in the County, the true horror begins…
