More about Francesca: “I was born in St Louis, Missouri, grew up in Los Angeles and attended both Yale and Oxford Universities, where I specialised in Medieval Studies. I then threw away a lucrative career as a medievalist and worked as a freelance journalist, writing for the Sunday Times, Guardian, Mail on Sunday, Telegraph, and Vogue.

After my son Joshua was born in 1989, I started writing children’s books full time.

I have published over 50 books, including the immensely popular Horrid Henry series, published in 17 countries and now a successful CITV animation series.

I live in London with my husband, son, and Tibetan Spaniel called Shanti.”

   Part 1 Horrid Henry Rocks

   Well Henry and Peter sneak into each others rooms and never stop arguing. Mum gives Henry the blame. So it was war. Peter went into Henry’s room and hid Mr Kill at the top of his cupboard were he hides all of his secret things. Henry does the same and takes all of Peter’s little sheep. Worst of all Henry tampered with all of peter’s drawing’s. Suddenly, Peter came and there was Henry. Peter insisted he would tell Mum but he persuaded him not to tell Mum. He told him that a burglar had tampered with his drawing’s and took all his sheep.’‘He’s under your bed’’. ’’ I’m to scared’’. ’’Are you sure’’.’‘No I’m looking under’’.

    I used to love Horrid Henry when I was a kid. They are great for kids from 6-8. Its really funny.

    I like this book very much because when the charaters speak they are somtimes funny and descriptive.Henry is the funniest . peter is my favourite charater.Bestest book Ever Loved It .written by lenae green 7 years old girl.

    i would like to read this book because it sounds like i would be laughing my head off and i already have 4 other books of horrid henry and i have read all of them at least twice or 3 times. in my opinion i would definitely buy this.

    I absolutely LOVE horrid Henry! I think its really funny when hes like: ‘It’s not FFFAAAAIIIRRRR’. Sometimes I feel sorry for Henry, but sometimes he is really funny and plays a prank :)
