Product description
Devastated by the death of Uncle Monty, the Baudelaire siblings set forth to begin a new life with their latest guardian, Aunt Josephine, in a house on the edge of a gloomy old lake. But as always, Count Olaf is just one step behind them, disguised as charming old sea-dog Captain Sham, who quickly wraps Aunt Josephine around his little finger. When Aunt Josephine apparently commits suicide under unexplained circumstances, it turns out that she has named Captain Sham as the children’s legal guardian. As a hurricane bears down upon Lachrymose Lake, how will they escape Olaf and his hideous henchmen yet again?

on 5 March 2013It’s a little strange how even though these books each have their unfortunate event they are really enjoyable, each page spent in anticipation of Violets inventions, Klaus’ knowledge and sunny’s Bites. this is the third in the series and although Aunt Josephine is no uncle Monty, you really can see that the orphans could’ve been happy with her, even though her house is a death trap.

on 21 December 2010After The Death of Uncle Monty, The Baudelaires go To Live With Aunt Josephine in a House on a cliff above Lake Lachrymose, Damocles Dock. Aunt Josephine is scared of everything And the Baudelaires can’t understand why she is living on a cliff! in this unpleasant book, The children face Aunt Josephine meeting an evil villian, a fake death, a hurricane and Chilled Cucumber soup on a freezing cold day! Read about the misery of these three poor children and enjoy as i did the whole way through! Amazing and Outstanding! Five stars!

on 20 December 2010What a wonderful book! Well not wonderful because nothing pleasant happens in it and that is what i love about the books! The tale Of the Baudelaire Orphans is just so interesting and makes you want to read on, especially this book! How Lemony Snicket mixes different storys with Count Olaf is unbelieveable and i look forward to reading more of these Fantastic books! Five stars and I recommend this book to people that like books with no happy endings between the ages of 10 and 100!
