Patrick and Flippa by Wendy Meddour (author) and Merle Goll (illustrator)

Patrick and Flippa are best friends-they love watching clouds together. Every day, Flippa dives for their dinner and makes sure that Patrick’s tummy is full of fish . . . so why does he always have that empty bear feeling? Is it because Flippa’s always in charge?

The water might be ICY, but this story is full of WARMTH and LAUGHTER.

• An important message about controlling friendships and setting boundaries from author of Lubna and Pebble and Peggy the Always Sorry Pigeon, Wendy Meddour.
• With humorous text and wonderful characterization, the book’s theme is delivered with a light touch and lots of laughs.
• Merle Goll’s wonderful illustrations bring extra humour and appeal to lovable, though flawed, characters.
