on 24 February 2011I didn’t like the book because I found it a little bit emotional. I did like the illustrations. This book is perfect for 7 year old on up.
There was a lot of sadness in this book and for me, I just didn’t like it. As soon as I saw the title and saw it was about an orphan, I didn’t want to read it but my parents asked me to (more like forced me to!). I was glad I did read it as it is different from what I am used to reading.
It is a good book, but not for me.
