Product description

Cara is horribly upset when she breaks her leg and can’t go away with her friends on their summer holiday. To cheer her up, Mum takes her to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, where she adopts Stella, a gentle Staffordshire bull terrier puppy. Stella goes everywhere with Cara – even travelling to a birthday party! But one day a very excited Stella bounds onto a bus, and the doors close before Cara can join her, carrying Stella away! Will Cara ever be reunited with her runaway puppy? Or will Stella find herself lost and alone in the world yet again? A heartwarming story based on a real-life dog, from the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home series. Proceeds from buying this book help real-life rescued animals to find homes!
