Product description

What’s it like to be a super-nerd – and a supermodel? It’s one of many things Harriet Manners knows. Like that the average person eats a ton of food a year. Or the exact length of a nanosecond. But she doesn’t know how to get people to like her. Now Harriet heads off to Japan for a summer on the catwalk. But even the craziest city in the world is still too close to home. Gorgeous Nick is everywhere. And the feeling of a broken heart is something know-it-all Harriet also knows. Laugh-aloud funny and as charmingly odd as a polar bear in a rainforest. A real ex-model’s sassy and addictive take on the catwalk life. We adore it.

Praise for Geek Girl:

“A smart, sassy and very funny debut.” The Bookseller

    Laughing from the first page

When I found out that Holly was writing a Geek Girl sequel, excitement was an understatement. I really loved Geek Girl and was eager to see what else she could do. When I got it I did however have a slight moment of worrying that it wouldn't live up to its high expectations- i've read many a sequel which are completely unnecessary. Thankfully I wasn't disappointed even slightly. From the first page I was laughing at Harriets witty comments, getting annoyed at Nicks "tendencies" and feeling sorry for Toby. Next thing I knew, I was reading the acknowledgements. What can I say? Model Misfit is well worthy of five stars - bring on Geek Girl 3!
