Product description
Bags of cheeky fun with Henry to help you start reading on your own. Great colour pictures by Tony Ross, with loads of brand new art. And one screamingly funny story – not too long and not too short. Super reading practice for all you tiny terrors. Henry is sitting quietly in class one day, doodling pictures of Miss Battle-Axe being gobbled up by hungry crocodiles, when he hears about the reading competition. The prize is a family ticket to a theme park. Rollercoasters! Water rides! Candyfloss! Henry’s GOT to win – but HOW is he going to read all those books?

on 8 May 2012I really enjoyed Horrid Henry Reads a Book – the first thing i thought when i first saw this book was henry never reads books- does he?
My favourite scene was Henry’s eureka moment when he thought of making up his own books that miss battle-axe would not know* and the disappointment when henry won tickets to the newest theme park- book world!
I rate this book 9/10 you can never get enough of horrid henry!
