Jonathan Meres left school at the age of 16 to join the merchant navy and spent the next 7 years sailing around the world. Since then he has worked as an ice cream van driver and in Harrods, got a band together, appeared in a pop video and been a stand up comedian. He’s won a Time Out Award for Comedy and been nominated for The Perrier Award at the The Edinburgh Festival. His bestselling book The World of Norm: May Contain Nuts (the first in The World of Norm series) has won a Scottish Children’s Book Award and was shortlisted for the Red House Children’s Book Award.

    GOOD BOOKS AND WIMPY KID!!!!!!

    I really like these book when I started to read the world of norm may require batteries and after I read that it made me want to read more of these books and I have read some more. My favourite characters are grandpa, Norm, Brian and mum because they are sometimes kind and sometimes hilarious. I do not like Dad because of his veins on his head.
