Perfect for beginners
I like that it's decodable for kids who are just getting started with reading independently. I teach reading as a tutor, and I often go to this book because it's always a tried and true hit with the kids. They think it's silly. I like that there is repetition of certain phonic sounds so I can teach them the rules beforehand and make it a learning opportunity.
