Product description
A simple and moving portrayal of Anne Frank, the girl who evaded the Nazis for two years before finally dying in Bergen-Belsen. This biography journeys from her happy early childhood in Frankfurt to her youth in Amsterdam, and from her years in hiding to the final months of her life in the concentration camps. Narrated in six clearly-written chapters, it answers common questions about Anne’s life, and includes anecdotes from her surviving friends, a historical note and a map. Ideal both as an accompaniment to her diary and for readers who are not yet ready to read the diary itself, this is a clear and moving look at a young life tragically cut short by war.
